Caris Life Sciences Manager - International Marketing in Irving, Texas

Position Summary

The Manager of International Marketing is responsible for creating marketing programs, as well as the development of marketing and communication content/material for Caris’ international molecular profiling services. This position requires a strong track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns across various international markets, creating country specific plans, and managing distributor partners (direct, in-country sales and marketing).

The position reports into the VP of Product Marketing and will work closely with the international commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of the precision medicine landscape in oncology, a high business acumen and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues related to customer and territory needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support international commercial and operational teams while based in Dallas, TX; involving flexible hours to accommodate various time zone differences.

  • Work with cross-functional internal teams to develop sales and marketing collateral, transactional materials (e.g. order forms, shipping kits, etc.), promotional materials, email/letter communications and training content.

  • Manage strategic international marketing projects, including proactive efforts to achieve timely deliverables and accurate updates for leadership team.

  • Act as the primarily liaison for international events and trade shows.

  • Strengthen distributor management relationships and the on-boarding of new partners through training, material needs, events, etc.

  • Engage with key internal stakeholders to support product enhancements, new product launches and customer engagement.

  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging throughout all communications in various languages.

  • Collect, analyze and synthesize data to create actionable marketing plans and collateral.

  • Work with internal and external marketers to help prepare marketing strategies and programs.

  • Take on special projects as they arise to help achieve market leadership in a growing segment.

  • Continually broaden knowledge base regarding company science, company culture, business, industry and trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college in marketing, communications, or scientific field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing/communications/product management.

  • Prior healthcare experience (in vitro diagnostic, medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.)

  • Firm understanding of marketing principles and demonstrated experience successfully managing marketing projects from beginning to end.

  • Must be able to work across levels in the organization to drive projects to completion.

  • Must be well-organized and can meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Proficient computer skills, which include Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, as well as other marketing software such as HubSpot, Pardot, WordPress or Jira.

  • Conditions of Employment: Individuals must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, and reference verification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • International marketing or business experience.

  • Advanced degree (MBA/PhD) and molecular science/precision medicine experience.

Training

  • Role specific, safety and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.

Physical Demands

  • The ability to lift objects over 20 pounds.

  • The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Other

  • This is an in-office position located in Irving, Texas (vs remote).

  • This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays (medical conventions are typically held over weekends, which this person would be required to attend).
